In this course, participants will learn: • BLS (Basic Life Support): High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, and team-based resuscitation. • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Recognition and management of cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, stroke, advanced airway techniques, pharmacology, and effective team dynamics. • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Pediatric assessment, recognition and management of respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest in infants and children, airway management, pharmacology, and team-based resuscitation. • PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization): Early recognition of pediatric respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies, systematic assessment, high-quality CPR, basic interventions, and stabilization until advanced care arrives. • EKG (Electrocardiogram) Interpretation: Identification of normal and abnormal rhythms, arrhythmias, and life-threatening heart rhythms, with practical application for adult and pediatric patients. • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior): Techniques for safely managing and de-escalating aggressive or assaultive patients, emphasizing personal safety and patient-centered care. Refunds: All classes and combos are NON-REFUNDABLE. There are no exceptions. NO REFUNDS will be issued FOR ANY REASON including mistakes or errors in registering on the student's behalf. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if the request is made after you have completed or before you have started the course and/or completion cards have been emailed to you or if you have claimed your American Heart Association (AHA) eCard via heart.org. It is your obligation to determine that the course content for any course you register for meets the requirements of any organization or regulatory agency that may be applicable to your situation. You should verify the course meets your applicable requirements prior to purchasing or registering or starting for any course. Rescheduling: Students dismissed for misconduct or who do not complete the course requirements are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or rescheduling. Certification is only awarded to students who attend the full class and successfully meet all course requirements. Attendance: Only registered students may attend class. Guests, family, and children are not allowed in the classroom. Only individuals who have been explicitly authorized by the instructor or training center may be present in the classroom. This includes observers, assistants, or facility staff as needed. Student Conduct Respectful behavior is required. Instructors reserve the right to dismiss disruptive or unsafe students without certification or refund. Disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Certification Completion cards are only issued to students who meet all course requirements and demonstrate skills as required by the American Heart Association. Physical Activity CPR training involves physical activity (kneeling, compressions, etc.). Please ensure you are physically able to participate. Always call 911 in an emergency.
